Mode 1 — Training Mode (Front Clip)
Clip the lead to the front D-ring on the chest. When your dog pulls, their body redirects sideways — breaking the forward drive. Use this for training walks, busy pavements, and anywhere your dog gets excited.
Mode 2 — Adventure Mode (Back Clip)
Clip the lead to the back D-ring. Full freedom of movement for relaxed walks, hikes, and off-peak outings once your dog walks well on a loose lead.
When to switch: Start every dog on Training Mode. Once they're walking calmly beside you (most dogs adjust within 1–3 walks), try Adventure Mode on quieter routes. If they start pulling again, switch back. No tools, no fuss — just move the clip.

?Will this actually stop my dog pulling?

I am overwhelmed with how good this harness is. My 2 year old Labrador pulled like a freight train, and I admit I was a bit doubtful that this harness would work as I'd tried all different kinds of leads, collars and harnesses. But wow… It's like walking a different dog! The bungee lead also makes everything better. You too will be pleasantly surprised I'm sure. Definitely worth the money.

Amazing product, the first walk I was shocked at how well it worked, no more pulling. We have tried every other lead and nothing ever worked. Massive difference on walks. Our doberman is 4 years old and had what I thought was good training, but with high prey drive she mastered the art of trying to be a sledge dog with humans behind. It's good. It's definitely more comfortable for the dog and makes it easier to walk him. The front straps seem to loosen too easily though which makes it go slack at the front. No real issue, just not as controlled as it could be.
As soon as he had it on (once he got over the whole "this is weird" thing) he walked really calmly and didn't pull. When we got to usual pull spots I could hardly feel it, thanks to the stretchy free lead. I'm so so pleased with it, I'd definitely recommend 😍

A brilliant harness! Having tried several other types of harness, and a halti on my strong 2 year old english springer, the NordPaw harness is a game changer. Especially with the bungee lead. I use the front clip, and the harness remains in place. She looks so much happier than she did in the restrictive halti. I would definitely recommend trying the NordPaw harness!
